Is Portwest hi-vis certified to EN ISO 20471?
Many Portwest hi-vis garments are certified to EN ISO 20471. The class for each garment is listed on its product page, or you can browse our EN ISO 20471 hi-vis range.
Can you add our logo to Portwest clothing?
Yes. We can print or embroider your logo on most Portwest garments. Logo setup is £9.99 per print position. Our customisation prices page and artwork guidelines explain the process.

Portwest workwear covers almost every job, from hi-vis jackets and rainwear to flame-resistant clothing, coveralls and PPE. This family-owned company has been trading since 1904 and is known for protection you can rely on. Browse the range below and add your logo with our in-house embroidery and print.
Who are Portwest?
Portwest is a family-owned company that makes and distributes workwear, safetywear and PPE. It started in 1904, when Charles Hughes opened a footwear and drapery shop in Westport in the west of Ireland. The Hughes family still runs the business, which now sells around the world. Portwest designs its products in-house and owns its own factories, so it controls quality and supply from start to finish.
What is Portwest known for?
Hi-vis and flame-resistant clothing
Portwest's designers specialise in high-visibility and flame-resistant clothing. Portwest hi vis ranges from traffic jackets and bombers to breathable rain gear, bib and brace and coveralls, in both yellow and orange. Protection ratings vary by garment, so check the product page for the standards and class that apply.
Head-to-toe protection
As well as clothing, Portwest makes hand, foot and hearing protection, disposable coveralls, chemical-resistant garments, welding wear and spill kits. That makes it easy to get a whole team kitted out from one brand.
Portwest ranges we stock
- PW3: hi-vis and non-hi-vis work jackets, stretch and holster-pocket trousers, rain jackets and salopettes, polos and sweatshirts, including women's fits.
- KX3: cargo and ripstop trousers, flexi joggers, a performance fleece, a rain jacket and a hybrid baffle jacket.
- Iona: traffic jackets, bombers, safety combat trousers and lightweight rain and winter trousers.
- Bizflame Rain: flame-resistant rain jackets, trousers, bomber jackets and bodywarmers.
- Sealtex: classic and hi-vis rainwear, including jackets, trousers, coveralls and bib and brace.
- Portwest Texo: contrast jackets, trousers, shorts, coveralls and bib and brace.
- BizTex: disposable coveralls plus boot, shoe and sleeve covers.

Choosing the right Portwest kit
Start with the hazards on your site. If you need to be seen near traffic or plant, choose hi-vis and check the class on the product page. For wet weather, look at Sealtex or the breathable rain ranges. If there's a risk of flame or arc flash, look at Bizflame. For everyday trade work, PW3 and KX3 offer tough trousers, jackets and layers that also take a logo well.
Who is Portwest workwear for?
- Construction, civil engineering and highways teams who need hi-vis on site and by the road.
- Utilities, energy and industrial workers who need flame-resistant or chemical-resistant clothing.
- Facilities, maintenance and warehouse staff who want tough everyday workwear.
- Food, hospitality and trade businesses, with aprons, chefs' caps and general workwear.
