5. Delivery
a) Each delivery will include a delivery note detailing relevant reference numbers, sender and recipient addresses, product information, and any special instructions.
b) We may deliver items in separate instalments. Each instalment will be treated as a separate contract and invoiced individually. Delays or issues with one instalment will not affect the rest of your order.
c) Delivery times are estimates only. While we strive to meet delivery deadlines, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control. In the event of a delay, we will keep you informed.
d) Delivery is considered complete once the goods arrive at the delivery address provided. If your delivery address changes, you must inform us in writing at least 2 working days prior to the scheduled delivery.
e) We are not responsible for delivery delays resulting from insufficient delivery instructions or other relevant information.
f) If your order includes multiple items, these may be shipped separately, depending on stock availability.
g) Neither party will be held responsible for delays caused by events beyond their control (Force Majeure), such as natural disasters, strikes, accidents, or government actions.
h) If we are unable to deliver your goods (excluding delays caused by Force Majeure), our liability is limited to the reasonable cost you incur in obtaining replacement goods of similar quality, minus the price of the undelivered goods.
i) If you fail to accept delivery within 3 working days of our first attempt (and the delay is not due to Force Majeure or our own fault):
- Delivery will be deemed complete at 9:00am on the third working day after our initial delivery attempt.
- We will store the goods and may charge you for storage, insurance, and any associated costs.
j) If you fail to take delivery within 10 working days, we reserve the right to:
- Resell or dispose of the goods; and
- After deducting reasonable storage and resale costs, either credit you for any amount above the original price, or invoice you for any shortfall if the resale value is lower than the original price.
k) We currently deliver to addresses in the UK and the Republic of Ireland only. See our Delivery page for current charges.
6. Title (ownership) & risk
a) Risk associated with the Goods passes to you upon completion of delivery.
b) Legal ownership (title) of the Goods remains with us until full payment is received — either in cash or cleared funds — for all Goods due.
c) Until ownership has officially transferred to you, you agree to:
- Store the Goods separately from any other items in your possession, ensuring they are identifiable as our property;
- Refrain from removing, altering, or obscuring any labels, marks, or packaging related to the Goods;
- Maintain the Goods in good condition and keep them insured at their full value against all potential risks, from the date of delivery;
- Notify us immediately if you experience any of the circumstances outlined in Clause 8(a); and
- Provide any information we reasonably request regarding the Goods.
d) If you experience any of the events listed in Clause 8(a) before ownership passes to you, we reserve the right, without limiting other remedies, to:
- Request the return of all Goods in your possession that have not been resold or permanently integrated into another product; and
- If you do not comply promptly, we may enter your premises — or those of a third party where the Goods are stored — to retrieve them.
7. Price & payment
a) The price of the Goods is the price shown on our website on the date you place your order, subject to any agreed promotional discounts or tiered-account pricing.
b) We may increase the price of the Goods without notice if the increase results from:
- Factors beyond our control (e.g., foreign-exchange fluctuations, changes in taxes or duties, or rises in labour, material, or manufacturing costs);
- Your request to change delivery dates, quantities, product types, or specifications;
- Delays caused by your instructions or by incomplete or inaccurate information provided by you; or
- Any rise in our operating or procurement costs.
c) Prices exclude packaging, insurance, and transport costs unless your order qualifies for a free-delivery promotion advertised on the website. These charges are itemised at checkout and may vary from time to time.
d) Prices are shown exclusive of VAT unless you select the VAT-inclusive option at checkout. Any VAT due will be added to your total at that stage.
e) Customers without an approved credit account must pay in full, in cleared funds, before dispatch. We accept PayPal, debit/credit card, bank transfer, or sterling cheque. Returned cheques incur a £35.00 administration fee.
f) For international bank transfers, please call +44 (28) 90 749 719 or email support@theworkwearco.com to obtain our IBAN and BIC. All payments must be in Pounds Sterling. You are responsible for any bank charges; please instruct your bank to ensure we receive the full invoiced amount. Goods will not be shipped until full payment is received.

b) Without limiting other rights, we may suspend supply of Goods under this Contract or any other contract if any event listed in Clause 8(a) occurs, or if we reasonably believe it will occur, or if you fail to pay any amount due on time.
c) Upon termination for any reason, you must immediately pay all outstanding invoices and accrued interest.
d) Termination does not affect any rights, obligations, or liabilities accrued by either party before termination.
e) Clauses that explicitly or implicitly survive termination will continue in full effect.
9. Claims & returns policy and procedure
a) You must inspect the Goods immediately upon delivery (or when delivery is deemed to have occurred). You must notify us in writing within 3 days of delivery if you believe the Goods do not comply with the Contract. Time is essential. If you fail to notify us within this period, the Goods will be considered accepted and in full compliance with the Contract.
b) You have 28 days from the date you receive your order to notify us in writing if you wish to return non-customised Goods. If you do not notify us within this timeframe, the Goods will be deemed accepted.
c) Once we agree to a return (see clauses 9(d) to 9(h)), the Goods must be returned to us within 14 days. Failure to return within this time will result in the Goods being deemed accepted.

- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- Breach of terms implied by Section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979.
