About Snickers Workwear

Snickers Workwear is a Swedish workwear manufacturer and part of Hultafors Group. Snickers says it was founded in 1975 by the craftsman Matti Viio, who started designing his own work clothing because what he had was not good enough, and that the name comes from snickare, the Swedish word for carpenter. The brand joined Hultafors Group in 2007.

The range is built around work trousers with holster pockets and knee-pad pockets, alongside jackets, hoodies, base layers, tool belts and knee pads. AllroundWork is the core everyday range, FlexiWork adds stretch, LiteWork is lighter for warm work and RuffWork is made for heavy-duty jobs. High-Vis garments are certified to EN ISO 20471 (compare classes in our hi-vis clothing), and ProtecWork is multinorm flame-resistant clothing. How does Snickers Workwear sizing work?

Snickers uses its own size codes rather than waist inches. Regular-leg trousers run from size 42 to 68: for example, size 50 fits a 35" waist (88 cm). Jackets and tops use XS to 4XL and above. The Snickers size guide (PDF) has the full chart, and it is linked on each product page.

What do the Snickers trouser leg-length codes mean?

The same waist has a different number for each leg length. For a 35" waist: 50 is regular (32" inside leg), 100 is short (30"), 200 is extra short (28"), 150 is long (35") and 250 is extra long (37"). So regular sizes run 42–68, short 84–132, extra short 184–232, long 142–168 and extra long 242–268. Not every style comes in every leg length; the available sizes are shown on each product page.
