EN 343 covers protective clothing against rain. The first number is the water penetration class and the second is the water vapour resistance (breathability) class, each from 1 to 4 under the current version of the standard, with 4 the highest. A jacket marked 4/4 has the highest rating for both, while breathability Class 1 garments come with a recommended maximum wear time.

No. Softshells, fleeces and bodywarmers are generally wind- or shower-resistant layers rather than waterproof. If you need rain protection, use our Waterproof Jackets or EN 343 collections and check the class on the product page.

Embroidery is £3.99 + VAT and print is £3.99 + VAT, with no extra charge for the number of colours, logo size or design complexity. On your first branded order a one-off setup fee may apply (£9.99 + VAT for embroidery or print), and once your logo is on file you won't be charged setup again for the same design.

Yes. DTF printing is suitable for almost any fabric, including hi-vis and technical garments, and embroidery suits many jackets. Some logos aren't compatible with every branding method, so we may get in touch to discuss yours. Email sales@theworkwearco.com if you'd like advice before you order.

Yes. Our Hi-Vis Jackets collection includes waterproof and padded styles and bodywarmers certified to EN ISO 20471. We keep logos off the fluorescent and reflective areas.

Branded orders take 7–10 working days in production, and plain items 2–4 working days. Once your order is dispatched, delivery is next day to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, or 1–2 working days to Great Britain. You can also collect free from our trade counter in Belfast. If you have an urgent deadline, email sales@theworkwearco.com as early as possible and we'll do our best to help.

Non-customised items can be returned within 28 days of receiving your order, unworn, unwashed and in their original packaging with tags attached. Customised items can't be returned unless they're faulty, in which case we'll replace them. If an item is faulty or we sent the wrong one, we'll arrange the return for you.
