Knee-pad pockets are just pockets that hold a pad. EN 14404 is the standard for knee protectors, and a Type 2 protector (a pad held in a trouser pocket) is certified only for the specific trouser and pad combination that was tested together. If kneeling protection is required, choose from our Knee-Pad Ready Workwear (EN 14404 with named pad) collection and use the pad the maker names.

Level 0 is for flat floors with no penetration resistance, Level 1 adds penetration resistance for most kneeling work, and Level 2 is for harder conditions with higher penetration resistance. The type and level are shown on each certified product page.

The first number is the water penetration class and the second is the breathability class, each from 1 to 4 under the current version of EN 343, with 4 the highest. Check the product page for the class of each style.

Embroidery is £3.99 + VAT and print is £3.99 + VAT, with no extra charge for the number of colours, logo size or design complexity. Larger back designs are £8.95 + VAT for embroidery and £6.95 + VAT for print. On your first branded order a one-off setup fee may apply (£9.99 + VAT for embroidery or print), and once your logo is on file you won't be charged setup again for the same design.

Branded orders take 7–10 working days in production, and plain items 2–4 working days. Once your order is dispatched, delivery is next day to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, or 5–7 working days to Great Britain. You can also collect free from our trade counter in Belfast. If you have an urgent deadline, email sales@theworkwearco.com as early as possible and we'll do our best to help.

Non-customised items can be returned within 28 days of receiving your order, unworn, unwashed and in their original packaging with tags attached. Customised items can't be returned unless they're faulty, in which case we'll replace them. If an item is faulty or we sent the wrong one, we'll arrange the return for you.
