Who are Flexfit and Yupoong?

Flexfit is the headwear brand of Yupoong, a South Korean company founded in 1974. Yupoong started out exporting fabrics, began making caps a few years later, and in 1994 applied for a patent on Flexfit, its original stretch-fit cap. Flexfit has since become a favourite with streetwear and sports brands. Yupoong makes its caps in its own factories in Vietnam and Bangladesh.

A standard Flexfit cap has a stretch band built into the crown, so it fits snugly and comfortably without a strap at the back. That gives a clean, closed look that's ideal for branding.

More styles and technology

The range has grown well beyond the original fitted cap. Flexfit 110 caps add an adjustable snapback, Flexfit Delta is a newer performance line, and Flexfit describes its NU® series as the pinnacle of its headwear technology. The YP Classics® collection covers everyday snapbacks, truckers and 5-panel caps.
