Collection: S3 Safety Footwear

S3 is S2 (toe cap, closed heel, antistatic, heel energy absorption, water-resistant upper) plus a puncture-resistant midsole and a cleated outsole. Under EN ISO 20345:2022 the midsole marking shows its type: S3 has a metal insert, S3L a non-metal insert tested with a 4.5 mm nail, and S3S a non-metal insert tested with a 3 mm nail. This group includes all three.

Footwear certified to the earlier 2011 edition is still valid until its certificate expires, so you will see both editions listed.
