Quick answer

RIS-3279-TOM (Issue 2) requires fluorescent orange hi-vis that also meets EN ISO 20471, typically at least Class 2 on the upper body. Network Rail and other duty holders call it up in their own rules. Older garments may still be labelled GO/RT 3279. It is a GB rail standard; Irish Rail and Translink set their own requirements, so check with them.
